Bear Snores On in November
It’s November! Can you believe it? It was the first day of school a second ago and now here we are. I need to evaluate my kids for report cards this week and I’m not sure where all that precious time went. I have to say that, although I dislike snow A LOT, I LOVE November before it snows. It’s so crisp and pretty and so many things are changing. This is a great book for this time of year.
As for Halloween, I did not give into the candy haze!! I worked my kids like little bees last Friday. I had to, otherwise it would have been anarchy. Check out my little Jack Sparrow, he’s so cute. I’ve been calling him Captain ever since.
Since November is upon us, it got me to thinking about this awesome story.
It’s such a cute story and I wanted to do more with it, so I created some activities around it.
My kids have been having so much fun with this! You can check out some of their work below.

Have a great week!

With all of the demands on my time lately, I'm feeling pretty envious of the bear…..how many times wouldn't I love to curl up and nap just like that?! Fabulous book and fabulously engaging activities to match! Your unit looks absolutely fantastic!

I love all the Bear books! I love when the kids chime in all on their own with the chorus. . . "and the bear snores on!" Did you see the new one available in the December Scholastic catalog? I can't recall the title. Your unit looks amazing and the clip art is oh so cute! It's amazing how many activities you put together all centered around this story!

Love, love, love! My kids love this book every year & this would be a great way to enrich it. We don't get a lot (any?) snow down this way, so I'm just a wee bit jealous you get to experience it every year. Thanks for the chance! 🙂
