Classroom Rules Freebie Updated…Just in Time!

In my effort to gear up for back to school, I just realized how little I have done over the summer to prepare for this. Now, of course, it’s getting closer and I”m finding myself making endless lists of things I need. It doesn’t matter really how well I get my classroom ready, I ALWAYS end up shifting things around once I meet my kids. Do you do that too? I mean, I get everything looking perfect, but the kids come in that first day and mess it all up and I look around, in a dizzy blur at 4 o’clock that afternoon, and I realize that – NO, that cute dog puppet, that cost me a fortune, much prefers to be facing upside down in between 2 books with legos in his mouth rather than the sweet way I had him displayed standing outside his doghouse, tail wagging. Yep. I love my kids loads, but on the eve of the first day of school, I always take one last look around at my handiwork and then think to myself – Now, if only the kids wouldn’t come!!

With all that preparation in mind, I did actually take the time to update my classroom rules. Here are a few, you can download all of them by clicking on any of the pics. Now, if we could just get ALL the kids to follow ALL the rules each and every day for the next 180 days. That’s the easy part, right? 🙂
