That Is Not a Good Idea
I love this picture.
It’s a Pug in an UGG on a rug. I’m totally going to use it to reinforce the short U sound. So cute.
On to other things I love. This is a great story and I always read it this time of year and introduce my kids to the wonderful world of chicks, well actually they’re goslings.
Kids love this story and they especially love the baby geese. Each time I turned the page to reveal a new baby in action pic, the AWWWW’s ensued. It is honestly a page turner from beginning to end. And as always Mo Willems does it up right with the illustrations. It’s adorably funny, unpredictable and totally entertaining from beginning to end.
This ended up being a story, that even my littles who struggle so much, were able to sequence and fairly easily recall the events correctly. Chalk that all up to its overall appeal.
I managed to put together a book companion to go with it and it’s on sale for the first day of Spring. You can check it out here.
Happy Spring.

I LOVE that picture! I have a pug (but not Uggs) too! Mo Willems is the best! I just got that book at our last book fair. It is too funny!
